I am qualified to teach in Ontario and British Columbia, and I am very familiar with MLA, APA, and the Oxford style. I am well-versed in both Canadian and American English usage, spellings, and idiomatic phrases. I have also studied the unique traits of other languages and how they influence output.
My career has spanned 30 years, and this has required adjustments to countless computer programs; ever-changing writing and plagiarism sites; and the evolving rules regarding pronoun usage. I've tolerated texting language and navigated the prevalence of social media. I am currently attending a class in AI for regular use, to better understand its influence and repercussions.

Steps
The process will vary, but the client will always have control of the process.*
The Writing Process
1. Editing begins once the document is received by the Editor. 2. The Editor will return the edited document with notes, corrections and recommendations. (It will typically take 1-2 days to return to the Client.). 3. The Client will decide if another edit is required, and if so, will resubmit their revisions. 4. The Editor proofreads and/or arranges a video consultation and returns the final draft to the Client with thanks and a reminder of the balance owed. 5. The Client remits the balance owing.
Note: Rarely will there be a 3rd edit, but it is possible depending on writing proficiency.
* Setting up the Editing Plan
Step 1. The Client sends a message to the Editor requesting services. 2. The Editor sends a contact email for further correspondence and requests the written document to evaluate for a quote. 3. The Client submits the document. 4. The Editor sends a quote and contract requesting the Client's signature. 5. The Client returns the signed agreement indicating ( X amended,_ enacted or __terminated) and the first half of the balance to the Editor to enact services. 6. Editor returns the copy of the signed agreement to Client for their records and confirms the balance will be paid once services are completed.
